The German-Georgian Archive (www.german-georgian.archive.ge) was established in 2017 supported by Embassy of Germany in Tbilisi and Goethe-Institute Tbilisi. The purpose of the archive is a systemization, protection and popularization of the documentary and historical materials of long and multifaceted relations between the two countries. In addition to interesting family collections, photo documents and oral histories, the online platform includes the writings of various Georgian authors about different aspects of German-Georgian relations. Respective research is done within the framework of the project and it is openly accessible to individuals as well as organizations interested in the topic.
